Living Room: New Lease
Museum of Museums, Seattle
October 8 2021 – May 1 2022
Selections from SKAM collection alongside couches, credenza, tables, lamps, rugs, coasters, candles, bookshelf (with art books, board games, and puzzles), plants and planters, tchotchkes, coat hook (with hoodie, tote and umbrella), and iMac (playing Adventure Time seasons 1–10), 2021
New Lease is an update to SKAM’s inaugural exhibit Living Room, an approximation of Kardinal’s living space. On display are selections from the Impermanent Collection—featuring work by budding and established artists, primarily from Seattle, from the last fifteen years—alongside growing plants, meaningful trinkets and other ephemera. The lounge is replete with couches, tables and lamps, credenza and an iMac TV—currently playing Adventure Time, Kardinal’s favorite all-ages show.
