A beloved buoy acquired at Joe Bar
An art cafe in Capitol Hill, Joe Bar has a long history of monthly exhibitions of budding Seattle artists. Around that time, Ben also showed work at Some Space, the frame shop gallery I co-ran with Daniel Carrillo. I’ve always been taken with his collage-like compositions, and these minimal and curious buoys really struck me, so I setup a payment plan to have this one. It has been in every living room ever since.
